The Coolherbals Dermal Roller uses 192 micro-needles to part the pores on the top layer of the skin. This does not damage them.  The pores close back up after an hour following the use of the Roller. During this time, the skin is more permeable to any serums or creams used on the skin.

The Coolherbals Dermal Roller is made from surgical steel of the highest quality medical grade stainless steel available. There is a minimum chance of allergies occurring. The Coolherbals Dermal Roller has similar results to laser resurfacing, chemical peels and dermabrasion, but is LESS invasive.

It can be used on all skin types and even on sensitive areas around the eyes and neck.

How it works

The Coolherbals Dermal Roller causes pinpoint punctures, this pushes the pores open temporarily. The body responds by initiating the healing process by releasing growth factors and triggering the production of collagen and elastin in the skin.

Regular use of the Dermal Roller will trigger the healing process and the body will continue to heal itself and promote skin regeneration and skin repair.

The Coolherbals Dermal Roller is sterile, for single patient use only

Divide the treatment area into sub-areas and using a pincer-like grip and gentle pressure, work on one sub-area at a time. Make a motion forwards then backwards trying to achieve a full revolution of the head (about 6mm).

Make a motion vertically, horizontally and diagonally ensuring at least 6 passes per direction. Avoid lateral movement and downward pressure when rolling.

Increase the intensity and frequency of passes, but no pressure.

Do not use on eyelids and lips. Take care around the eye contour area. Do not use on tattoos or semi-permanent make-up.

Ensure Dermal Roller is used on skin supported by underlying bone and muscle.

Neck area – Avoid carotid massage and pressure on the trachea.

Hair loss and Hair Thinning

Work in one direction of rolling only. Not back and forth.

REMEMBER look for the endpoints 

– Uniform erythema (redness)

–  Pin-point bleeding

–  Mild swelling

It will take 20-30 minutes for Dermal Roller therapy.

After the use of the roller, the body will start to naturally regenerate and repair the skin, working below the surface of the dermis.
