Hair loss at a young age and what to do about it

Hair loss does not just affect older men. Sometimes boys as young as 15 begin to notice the signs of thinning hair. There are multiple lifestyles and environmental factors that are thought to be contributing to an earlier onset of hair loss in men, and stress is thought to be a leading cause. The years in between school and working life are packed with changes and sometimes the pressures of study, finding work – especially in the current economic climate. Stress is an often cited cause of temporary hair loss, and it can trigger genetic patterns of hair loss.

Hair loss at a young age and what to do about it

The chemicals and carcinogens found in tobacco are believed to slow down hair growth which leads to thinning hair and can result in significant hair loss if not addressed. Finally, it is more important to be self-confident and focus on what you do like about yourself.

Here are possible causes for thinning hair and the ways to reduce this problem:

1. Although a thinning of the hair is a natural part of the aging process,

many men experience hair loss prematurely. DHT or Dihydrotestosterone, is an androgen, which is a product of the male hormone testosterone and the root cause of 95 percent of hair loss in male pattern baldness. Men have more DHT present in the body than women, explaining why they suffer more from hair loss. DHT kills the hair follicles by blocking them from receiving the nutrients they need to survive.

Here is what to do: Use Coolherbals Male Hair Food to ensure you are receiving the right nutrients for follicle health.

2. High amount of sebum in the scalp clogs the pores of the scalp and prevents nutrients from reaching the hair follicle, resulting in hair loss. Use a shampoo which helps to unclog the pores such as Nutrigro Shampoo containing tea tree oil.

3. Inadequate nutrition or unhealthy diet also cause hair fall. Stress, worry, lack of sleep, and anxiety too cause hair fall. Long-standing diseases like typhoid, viral infections, anemia, surgery, etc. cause general debility which can lead to hair fall.

Heredity is also responsible for hair fall.

Dandruff or fungal infections of the scalp causes hair fall. Accumulation of dirt on the scalp causes blocking of follicles and weakens hair roots. This leads to hair fall.

Here is what to do: Use a gentle SLS –FREE shampoo such as Nutrigro which is natural and has less chance of weakening the roots. Take Silica in capsules one a day, makes hair stronger and thicker.

Traditional remedies to use at home:

· A mix of apple cider vinegar and sage tea to help hair grow .

· Take Gingko Biloba to improve blood circulation to the scalp .

· Take Saw Palmetto, this herb unblocks hair follicles decreasing residues of Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the scalp. Saw Palmetto is found in Nutrigro Male Hair Food

· Massage scalp with Rosemary oil to stimulate hair growth. Improves oxygen delivery to the follicles. Use Coolherbals Pitta oil.

· Use Tea tree oil found in Nutrigro Shampoo which kills bacteria and mites that attack the follicles and causes hair loss

Good luck!
